Digital dialogues can be used to provide more accessibility or pathways for participation that can either complement or substitute for structured offline dialogue processes. It can be used to overcome geographic, travel, or budget restrictions. Digital dialogue can also contribute to participants’ safety and openness, and provide new incentives to participate.
